Alan Bailey

Alan Bailey

Worship Pastor

Born in raised in rural, Downeast Maine, Pastor Alan grew up never having heard the Gospel; but that all changed in 2005 when God intervened in his life, and he was saved at the age of 22.

Over the next few years, his life radically changed by the power of God, and he received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

In 2007, he earned his Master of Music Degree in vocal performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. After graduating from the conservatory, God began calling him into full-time ministry. During this time of transition from professional music to ministry, Alan met his wife, Kate, and began leading worship at their church in Boston.

Assuming that a call to ministry implied a need to go to Bible college, Alan applied to Northpoint Bible College, but when one of their music professors retired unexpectedly that summer, the Dean of the college asked him to teach instead. Pastor Alan spent the next seven years teaching and training young music and worship ministers. He has a passion for worship, using the arts in evangelism, and helping people to grow spiritually and in the gifts God has given to them.

Alan and Kate have a son, Simon, and are expecting a daughter in October.

Ben Smith

Ben Smith

Having been raised in a Pastor’s home of churches mostly in Iowa and Illinois, Ben grew up among a family of nine children, all influenced by the faithful prayers of his mother and father. He was saved as a young boy, but chose not to follow in his father’s vocation. He served in the Vietnam War, followed by a career at IBM where he worked for 36 ½ years, mostly in sales.

In 1989, Ben, and his wife Jean, moved to Tucson, the last move of his IBM career. They became members of Eastside Assembly, and after retirement, Ben was asked by Pastor Kraft to take on the position of Pastoral Care Director. His current duties include: Visiting the sick and the infirmed, teaching Sunday School, Director for the Primetimers ministry, and follow-up on 1st time Visitors.
